She took breaks by doing needlepoint and watching Survivor and Amazing Race. Her biggest joy in raising her kids was snuggling in bed and reading with them. Now, she enjoys spending time with her 7 grandchildren, gardening and needlepoint. Her favorite things to do with her children and grandchildren is going to the beach with them. Her favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate (but rarely eats ice cream), her favorite scripture is Psalm 46:10, and her favorite season is summer.
