Our Core Beliefs
- We believe in the eternal, self-existent God revealed in the Bible.
- We believe God speaks to us today by His Son, Jesus Christ.
- We believe Jesus Christ lived on earth in bodily form and, having now ascended back to the Father, lives in all believers by the Holy Spirit.
- We believe the human race is created by God, but is mortal and destined to die because of sin.
- We believe God alone is immortal and lives in unapproachable light.
- We believe Jesus Christ has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel.
- We believe the Gospel (good news) is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and is God's power unto salvation.
- We believe the Gospel is received by grace through faith.
- We believe this saving-faith expresses itself through love and repentance.
- We believe mortal man takes on the immortality and glory of God through Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit.
- We believe this Christ-life, the indwelling Holy Spirit being the deposit guaranteeing our inheritance, is sustained through fellowship with His body, the church.
- We believe the church sustains our Christ-life by strengthening our faith through the administration of baptism, the Lord's Supper, praise and worship to God, service to the saints, and ministry to a lost and dying world.
